0226171212 Always trying to find that one toy for ur cat to love, well that was me and i created it! My daughters cat claimmed this once it was finished and will not let my other cats play with it! But this pattern is quite easy and very quick to make! Ur cat will fall in love with this toy u can make just one or many! ENJOY

Materials Needed:

  • 3mm hook or any hook size to obtain the gauge
  • fiber fill
  • Tapestry needle
  • scissors
  • stitch marker

 

Pattern

BODY

Round 1:

Mj, 7sc into ring, ch 1

Round 2: start using st marker or ch 1 at end of each round

2sc around

Round 3:

2sc into next st, sc into next st repeat around

Round 4:

sc 2 into next st, sc into next st, repeat around

Round 5:

sc into the next 3 sts, 2sc into next st repeat around

Rounds 6-14:

sc around

Round 15: 

2sc around

Round 16:

sc around

Round 17:

sc into next 3 sts, dec repeat around

Round 18:

sc into next 2 sts, dec repeat aound

Round 19:

DEC around fasten off

Little swindles 

make as many as u want

attatch to lower side of the body

Spring

  • h or 5.5mm hook or any size hook to optain yarn

Round 1:

Ch 37, HDC into 3rd ch from hook, HDC arnd TURN {35 HDC}

Rounds 2&3:

Ch 2, HDC arnd  TURN {35 HDC}

Round 4:

Ch 2, 2HDC into 1st st, HDC into next 33 sts, 2HDC into last st, TURN {37 HDC}

Rounds 5&6:

Ch 2, HDC arnd TURN {37 HDC}

Round 7:

Ch 2, 2HDC into 1st st, HDC into next 18 sts, 2 HDC into next st, HDC into next 17 sts, 2 HDC into last st, TURN {40 HDC}

Rounds 8&9:

Ch 2, HDC arnd, TURN {40 HDC} at round 9 follow directions as follows beneath

FOLD THE PIECE AND JOIN INTO THE 1ST HDC OF RND 9 AND SL ST.

Rounds 10-19: start using stitch markers for the remainder of rounds

Ch 2, HDC arnd ( do not turn the remainder of this pattern is worked in rounds so use a stitch marker to mark each round! {40 HDC}

Pony tail/Messy bun hat

Materials needed:

  1. Size 10 or J hook use a size h or 8 hook for kids size hats
  2. Any color yarn
  3. Scissors
  4. Tapestry needle
  5. Hair tie {optional}

If u choose to use a hair tie instead of doing the chain 22 just do 22 dc into hair tie and sl st into the first dc! It will still come out the same as chaining!

This hat was made with a hair tie at the beginning like the first one it is made top to bottom!

Change color at the end of each round if u chose to! At the beginning of each round the ch 3 counts as the first dc here and throughout the pattern!

Magic ring, chain 2, DC 10 in magic ring, join to first DC, ch 2

Round 4: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next four, join, ch 1 (36 DC)

optional: loosely slip stitch around the bottom to create a finished edge. fasten off sew in ends.

Stuff with poly-fil and sew onto top of beanie. Using your tapestry needle and with black yarn, sew onto the hat.

Carrot Nose:
Chain 6, Sl St in second chain from hook, SC, HDC, DC, DC, continue to slip stitch around the back and bottom of the triangle, when you get to the tip, chain 2, slip stitch in second chain from hook and slip stitch to your first SC. Add eyes to the hat and use 5 buttons for the mouth and add nose as well onto the hat!

 

Newborn Cocoon Pattern:

2016-11-13

Magic Ring, chain 2 and make 11 DC in ring, join, chain 2
Round 2: 2 DC in each stitch around, join, chain 2 (22 DC)
Round 3: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next, repeat around, join, chain 2 (33 DC)
Round 4: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 2 (44 DC)
Round 5: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 2 (55 DC)
Rounds 6-21: DC in each stitch around, join, chain 2 (55 DC)
fasten off weave in ends.
Now with different color yarn: (I used red)
Chain 30, attach to cocoon and SC around edge, when you get back to where you started, do not join, chain 30 (again), turn
Rows 2-5: SC in each stitch (down the chain 30, around the rim, and down the other chain 30), turn
fasten off and weave in ends. Scarf made.

Now you can tie the scarf in a little knot or bow!

Add three 1″ black buttons to the front of your cocoon.

  • Lime green yarn (I used RHSS worsted weight)
  • Sage green yarn (I used RHSS worsted weight)
  • Red yarn (I used RHSS worsted weight)
  • G/4.25mm crochet hook
  • Polyester stuffing
  • 12″ or 14″ foam floral ring
  • Yellow and black felt
  • Black embroidery floss
  • Sewing needle
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue and glue gun (or needle and thread for sewing the eyes on)
